Description:

This mountain has been declared sanctuary because of the northernmost beech forest (nothofagus oblicua) on its southern side and the big number of endemic flowers (Alstroemerias and orchids). This is especially in autumn and spring a very recommendable destination.

After a 2 hours trekking, we reach the summit of 2222 m , where you have an amazing view all over Chiles east west extension. In the east you have a fantastic view of the highest mountain of America - the 7000m high  Aconcagua. If the coast is clear you can see the sea in the west.
