Description:

This mountain has been declared sanctuary because of the northernmost beech forest (nothofagus oblicua) on its southern side and the big number of endemic flowers (Alstroemerias and orchids). This for it is especially in the autumn and spring a very recommendable destiny.

After a 2 hours trekking we reach the summit of 2222 m , where you have a amazing view all over Chiles east west extension. In the east you have a fantastic view of the highest mountain of the Americas the 7000m high  Aconcagua. If the coast is clear you can see the sea in the west.
