Booking Conditions

How to Enrol
Please use our on-line Enrolment form or send it by fax. Deadline for the language courses is 9 days before the course starts. After this deadline we only accept direct enrolments at the school, filling up the courses.

After having received the enrolment form you will get a Pro Forma invoice in between 48 hours.
In order to book a language course, you must  send a none returnable deposit  of US$100. You can pay the deposit (all fees have to be paid by you) through

You can wire the in the Pro Forma indicated Euro amount (equivilant to 100U$)  to our German Bank account

We can also charge your Visa, Master, Diner's or American Express credit card.

               
If you want to pay the reservation deposit by credit card, please download (click here) the  authorization form, fill it out, and send it to the following fax: (56) 2- 2354481.

4. Western Union
Alternatively the deposit can be send via Western Union, directed to Stefan Meffert in Santiago de Chile (you don't need any other indication!).

Please read carefully the cancellation conditions before you make the payment of the deposit. By making the deposit you accept these conditions.

Once received the deposit, we will send you the definitive confirmation with the complete lodging information and additional travel information by email.

Payment of the balance

Payment at school
The balance has to be paid within the first two days after course's start in cash, US$ bank check or with travelers checks or credit card. 
Payment to bank account
Alternatively you can wire the in the "Pro Forma" indicated Euro equivalence to our German Bank account:

Get a 2% Discount on the total of your balance payment to the Postbank account and US Bank account done at least 7 days before your course starts! This discount applies only if no other special discounts are given.

NOTE:

Group courses need as minimum 2 students per level. In case your level does not have the minimum you will get individual classes reducing the booked intensity to half or you can choose to participate in the next lower group.

Cancellation conditions

Language Courses

Before Deadline
The cancellation of a language course more than 9 days before the start of the course will result in the lost of the US$ 100 deposit, which is charged as cancellation fee. But, if you want you can change the starting date of the course without any additional cost within the following 12 month after the original starting date. After this period, you have to pay the deposit again. In case in the meantime the prices became higher, you have to pay the difference.

Between Deadline and start of course

For cancellations of any program between deadline and course start the cancellation fee is fixed in the cost of 1 week of the booked program as listed in the valid price list, without considering any applied discounts.

After course start

We don´t make any reimbursement for reductions of the intensity the student had booked.

Programs of less than 4 weeks duration

Cancellation of started programs of 1-3 weeks will result in the charge of the billed course program. We regret we cannot reimburse money in case of program abortion caused by any unforeseen circumstances, which are not responsibility of the school and which might affect the student and may force him/her to interrupt or end a course early, like illness, change of plans etc. for courses and lodgings lasting less than 4 weeks.

Programs lasting 4 weeks or longer

In case of abortion of started programs lasting 4 weeks or longer, we reimburse the difference between the realized and the paid program less the cost for one week of the same program as listed in the valid price list, without considering any applied discounts.

Lodging

Students have to pay one additional week above the time they actually stayed.

Hotels in Santiago:
Students only pay the time they stayed or 1 day for “no show up”.

Hotels in Ski Resorts:
Hotels in the ski resorts have their own reservation and cancellation policies. Please see their Home pages for details. Payments have to be made directly to the Hotel.

Reimbursements

We regret we cannot reimburse money in case of program abortion caused by any unforeseen circumstances, which are not responsibility of the school and which might affect the student and may force him/her to interrupt or end a course early, like illness, change of plans etc. for courses and lodgings lasting less than 4 weeks. In case of abortion of programs lasting 4 weeks or longer, we reimburse the difference less the cost for one week of the same program, as listed in the valid price list, without considering any applied discounts.
